As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the driving force behind our business growth. You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and scheduling meetings for our sales team, introducing businesses to our range of services, including HubSpot, implementation services, marketing services, and website design & development. You will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the Commercial Director, focusing on personal development and mentorship to enhance your skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Commercial Director to research and identify new business opportunities in line with the company's growth strategy.
  • Initially, focus on booking exploratory meetings for the Commercial Director with potential clients, before taking ownership of the end-to-end sales process as you progress within the role.
  • Generate leads and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients across technology, AI, professional services, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Promote and showcase the value of the HubSpot growth suite and Axon Garside's services, including technology implementation, marketing, and website design & development services, positioning them as best-in-class solutions to enable growth and success.
  • Cultivate long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and continuous growth.
  • Work collaboratively with our marketing and sales teams to develop targeted sales strategies and materials.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and eager to learn – a true self-starter.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with inbound marketing, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools, preferably HubSpot.

What We Offer:

  • £22,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • On-target earnings of £34,000 - £42,000 per year
  • 22 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day for each year served (up to a maximum of 27 days)
