ABOUT.
We have been using our skills as creative thinkers, writers and designers to help our clients grow their businesses since Jack Garside and Colin Axon created our business over thirty years ago.
The technologies and tools available to us have changed a lot over the years but the cornerstone of our approach has not.
People
Whatever the brief, we always start from the premise that the people that you would like to influence are just that, People. They might be Financial Directors, HR professionals or Systems Analysts but they are always People.
They don’t cease to have emotions, hopes, ambitions and fears just because they’ve walked into their office or picked up a laptop. Our understanding of what makes People tick, and our investment of time in understanding your business and your customers, allows us to best use the skills and tools available to achieve our client’s sales and marketing objectives.
Everything that we do for our clients falls into one or more of the categories below. You can find out more about each aspect of our service and see some examples of our work in the relevent section on the site.
Brand: Getting Ready for Business
Before you are ready to go and talk to your prospects and suspects we like to make sure that you are ready for business – and look the business: axongarside can help clarify your thoughts on what you’re about and get down under the skin of how you can help your customers (some people like to call this Positioning). We’ll get all your ducks in a row, make sure you are putting your best foot forward with a consistent message and consistently designed sales materials (Corporate Identity if you prefer). Now you are ready to talk to the market.
Communication
This is the bit that a lot of people like to get straight down to. It’s where we work with you to open up a sales funnel, nurture leads and create opportunities for salespeople to sell. We use a rapidly evolving range of online and offline tools to flag down your prospects so that we can make sure they understand how you can help them.
Online
The web has challenged the distinction between Brand and Communication by becoming not only the best window to the world but potentially your most important source of leads. Now everybody is talking about web 2.0 – and some of them know what they are talking about. The important thing is that web 2.0 gives us all kinds of new tools with which to build truly interactive marketing campaigns – and as we all know, sales is all about listening.
